He lives in his tiny cave that reeks of dragon pee, not far from the Stanky Stone Bird Tavern, staying inside at daytime and venturing out every night to gather rotten eggs, stink-horn mushrooms, and fermented meat to make dookie-stew, which he cooks in his rusty cauldron that he stole from the Caves of Certain Death (the acid from which blinded his right eye.) Nobody is allowed in his cave after an incident involving someone trying to take his 'precious candle', the thing he prizes most in this world, and he stays up all day to watch for intruders, hissing a shrill warning of "Whom'st there?!" if he senses someone. At night, the stank from the dookie-stew should do the work of keeping trespassers away...
and when all else fails...
"YOU NO TAKE CANDLE!!!"
