This is the Cactus Knight, took me a while to come up with an idea but i decided on this in the end, because, well, its not a giant sandworm and i think it's quite novel xP

Story:
A solo knight walks through the desert, parched and tired, he stumbles upon a cactus and remembers being told about a cactus's reservoir. He drew his sword but before he could unleash a devastating blow on this solitary, stationary cactus he was hit like a pincushion by a dozen needles, as he dropped to the floor paralyzed he heard something shifting before he knew it a cactus was leaning over him and stripping off his armour from his lifeless body. Nowadays the cactus roams the desert in his stolen armour, protected from the sun's rays and all kinds of creatures that threaten his journey.
