National attire of the inhabitants of the North Caucasus and the South Caucasus. The outfit is still used today on national holidays, but it has gone out of everyday use. It was mostly worn by the Ghalghaj (Ingush), Dagestan, Kabardian and Chechens, as well as by Azerbaijanis. It is also called chokha.
