Role Playing Game:

(Dunwater, Vermeria.)


A welfare of opportunity has opened up to the citizens of the Old World. A chance of discovery, to make a home in a land untouched where the troubles of the past cease to exist. This trip is sponsored in its entirety by the Dunwater Bay Trading Co., a company named for the chief settlement in the New World of Vermeria.

There lies a catch, however. The land is treacherous, and leagues before have attempted to settle in the land, fraught with danger. You will have to fight for peace, and to make your home, discovering the history of Vermeria, and perhaps the world at large as you find hidden knowledge and lost magic.

Character Backstory


Christopher lived in a dusty, old home full of dejected children for the early years of his life. A boy, larger than most his age, with large and neglected tusks. He remembers the commotion of adoption day, where even he was trying to appear his best- hair slicked in product and fat, parted in the middle.


He remembers his hand being gently pulled, led to a fanciful cart, by a woman in expensive velvets, with golden hair done up, under an extravagant hat. In a family of fair-skinned, dainty children, he was the one to stick out. He was treated with respect by the adults, but his siblings kept his life in a state of torment.


Soon came the day where they call became of age. With the passing of the old patriarch, the eldest child took to the management of the child, and Christopher’s life was turned into that of a servant, and attendant to his adoptive family, at the beck and call of his siblings. His main job was that of a hunting aid to his brother.

Though soon, his life became subject to change.

During the end of the prime hunting season, they hadn't been the most fortunate. Only rabbits and smaller game filled the larder, until they came upon an elk in the woods, the largest they'd seen all season. His brother raised his rifle and took a shot which whizzed through the trees, and into the flank of the creature. Unfortunately, it was all but fatal, and the deer limped away. Cricket was forced to take the rifle and chase it into the forest to confirm the kill.

Hoofmarks turned into footprints, until he found a man huddled under a tree with a musketball in his thigh. He was bleeding, in pain. A druid, was who he shot, not an elk. Cricket did his best to heal the man he'd discovered, and tell the hunting party that he'd lost the quarry.

He returned to the forest often to speak with the elk. They grew fond of one another, and he began to form a bond with nature and follow in the footsteps under the elk as his mentee, where he discovered the form of a boar.


Character Abilities

Cricket possesses the unique ability to transform into a boar at will, a form he had searched for through the teachings of a a druid, as well as the proficiency with blackpowder firearms, mainly in use for hunting.

Character Equipment

Flintlock Pistol x2 - A pair of plain pistols, the metal of which is tarnished from age. They seem well-loved.
Tarnished Signet Ring - An old ring containing the mark of a noble family.
