Clockwork was a secret experimentation, who was found and thought dangerous, and sent to be scrapped. However, in a stroke of luck, the truck carrying Clockwork's mangled body exploded, from a head on collision with a speeding car. His shards were sent flying into a discontinued warehouse...

In 1956, Clockwork was found, rusted and destroyed, in the back of the warehouse, as the warehouse had been rediscovered, and was being excavated, as a possibility for a military base. Using the scrap in the warehouse, Clockwork was pieced together, slowly and carefully. After being updated to the latest software, which his ability to do so was suprising due to his age, he was made into a war machine, and became equipped with a rail gun on his right arm. The mysterious energy that was his power source provided extraordinary abilities, such as extreme power in his legs, which provided super speed and powerful leaps, and extreme arm strength, enough to lift a passenger plane in each hand. His wires could link with one another and pull him together if separated, and he could add any mechanism to his scrapped-together body.
