A Coular is a creature that lives way underground. They live in groups within the depths of the Earth. They are decribed as a large human-like beings with rock that has formed on it back and the lava keeps it warm - this is developed throughout the Coular's lifetime. They gather up loads of Molten Rocks which they use to build tools and to cook insects like silverfish that live underground. They are peaceful creatures, however if provoked they will fight any predators in site.

Facts:

They stand at around 7ft tall and weigh up to 400lbs.
The Coular is named after "Coulee" which are lava domes that have experienced some flow away from their original position, thus resembling both lava domes and lava flows - an area where these creatures can be found.
The female lays about 20 eggs, however some of them do not survive.
They live for about 120 years, the oldest that has been recorded lived up to 140 years old.
Their skin is harder then human skin. It acts like an armour against falling rocks and burns from lava.
