There was a small peasant boy who lived on the outskirts of a village in a kingdom in the medieval times. He knew he really had no hope but he always dreamed of being a brave knight in silver, shining armor that caught every bit of the sun. He would ride off, heroically slay dragons and all that..... he didn't really know what else but he knew it would be great. He would ride through his village on a majestic horse, all the people would cheer..... he dreamed until something or other brought him back to reality.... "Stop standing around like a fool with that idiot grin!" and a sharp rap on the back of the neck that hurt. Sometimes when he was alone, though, his gaze would sail off into the distance over mountains, rivers, valleys, and he almost felt the feathered helmet sitting on his head.... a faraway smile would slowly work itself through his small, thin features.
