Envy, is a homunculus, and true to his name, he is very envious of humans. In the original show he is the son of Hohenheim of Light who died because of mercury poisoning. After failing the human transmutation Hohenheim abandoned him. In Brotherhood his true form is a large monster with many human faces attempting to escape from him. As Homnunculus a he can change form at will and impersonates the Fuhrer and several other characters throughout the show.
