Exie awoke to the smell of freshly cut grass and... smoke. He thought it was strange at first. There wasn't a single sign of fire around. But then he realized the ship he piloted had crashed.

He was finally home. He had been in that pod for a long time. He knew it had been a few hundred years or so since he had left Earth.

He could finally be free from the confines of interstellar space. A thought came to him, 'What if I still am on Earth? What if this is a dream, and I'll wake in my bed safe and sound?' but he cleared it out of his mind. It didn't matter to him. All that mattered was the here and now.

And in the here and now there were a bunch of people surrounding him.

Exie is a main character in Nexus, and the primary protagonist.
He is ███ and pretty ████████ at times, although he still makes for a great leader.
Can be a bit abrasive at times.

Exie's main goal is to find a deeper meaning in life.
