If you truely believe that then you are obviously ignorant. The game has the second worst storyline, the first being Fallout 3. The game tries appeal to the FPS fanbase but executes it in a mediocre way. SPECIAL, perks and Skills have been ruined. Most perks have little to do with there respective SPECIAL Trait and Skills have been removed. I'm going to guess and say you're first Fallout was Fallout 3 and that you've never played the originals or did and found them lacking.

I played Fallout 1, 2, 3 and 4. The first two was very interesting but they were limited to what they could do, I felt it was quite a step up when fallout 3 came out, completely changing how you saw the wasteland, Fallout New Vegas though felt a little dry, small and meaningless to me, but still a good game. I also feel that Fallout 4 is an insane improvement, all that I do not like about the game is that they gave you the power armor too soon and the map felt too small.
