Good start. if you want some tutorials on how to shade he's a compilation of the basics. On top of that, be sure to practice a lot and look at real photos of real people to find out how shadows and highlights work. I noticed you have some work to do regarding your shading (shadows/highlight distribution). To avoid making those afwul looking skins, this is a great tutorial on how colors work and how you should/should most definitely not combine them. I hope this was helpful :)
