BACKGROUNDAs her father was dying, Princess of No-Shade was lying at his death-bed. She thought to herself, 'Am I... Boring?' She definitely had the looks of her mother, Queen No-shade. She thought of the world around her. 'No. I am not boring. The world is.' She then decided to investigate why the land was boring and 1 coloured, and how she could fix it. She came upon an old man. She asked, "O you old miser-" "Hey!" "Do not interrupt me! O you YOUNG miser, why is the world boringly 1-coloured?" "That, young, fair lady, can be settled over dinner." "Hey! Do you have any idea who I am? Be off with you!" So then she set off again, into the horizon. She then came upon a parrot. "O great parrot, why is the world boring?" And the parrot did what parrots do. "O great parrot, why is the world boring?" The Great Princess muttered, "well this is no help..." So she set off again. She then came upon a young boy with a backpack, red baseball cap, jeans and a vest. He had a strange furry yellow beast upon his shoulder. This beast said, "Pika!" The princess said, "O strange boy, why is the world boring?" The boy said, "..." "I said, why is the world boring?" "..." The boy also said "..." Afterwards, he replied, "..." Then he said "..." Then he finally replied what she was asking the boy. "....................................................................."
"Wow, can you talk?" Then the furry beast, which she called a Pika, said "pika... CHUUUUUUUUUUUU!" And zapped poor Princess with lightning. She quickly set off after that. After 1000 kms of walking, she came upon the most unhelpful thing ever. A snail. "WHYYYYYYYY????" she wailed. "Because you are missing the point, young Princess," said a voice. "Who said that?" "Me" said the snail as she ate her.

After that the land changed. The world no longer was boring. The swamps were an olive green, the deserts were pale yellow. And the plains were vibrant with colourful rainbows. As a green eye shone from above, mountains rose. Villages were randomly generated. But where there is light, there must always be shadow. At night, monsters arose from the ground. The most terrifying of them all was the Maximus Explodius, aka Creeper. These monsters wreaked havoc at night, but were harmless during the day. And as the sparkling eye shone, a giant behemoth approached. The sun. This sun was no ordinary sun. It shone on the lands as The Creator, also Princess No-Shade's son, Notch, had made it. Princess No-Shade was No-Shady No Longer. This was the goddess Blocky Shade, the start of a great world view we know today as Default. And also, to this day, we still say LOL. Just thought you should know.
