At first I didn't know what a Hipster was, because Japan doesn't have any "Hipsters"  I think Hipsters are kind of silly, to be honest. But some Americans seem to be into the style. Also, not tryng to offend Americans. I wouldn't know your "Pop Culture" because mine is different.  If you don't know what a Hipster is, here is some picture.
