THIS JUST IN. Famous videogame star and actor, Retro Mario, has been found dead in his appartment!
"No one knows the reason why, yet," states police chief, J.J. Jingleheimerschmidt, "but after a full autopsy, we
should have the cause of death fully realized."

Millions of fans and people of relation to the diseased star have gathered at the base of the condiminium at which
Retro Mario was staying. Screams of sorrow from gamers, tears of loss from the family members, and twisted smiles from the sadists can be seen throughout the crowd.
The death of their beloved Italian friend has obviously hit them hard.

"Mama mia! 1Up 'Shrooms?" cries Luigi Mario, "I knew-a he was taking them, but I thought-a that it was-a just-a for health-a reasons!"
"Oh my!" squeaks Princess Peach, her pink cheeks paling to a sickly green, "the Mario I knew would never do that kind of thing."
"He had it coming, the bastard" grumbles King Bowser.

Aaaaand this is what happens when you have artists/skinners block. I really, really hate not being able to come up with a good idea. It makes me feel
unproductive and lazy D:
Anyhoo, yeah yeah, I know this isn't the most original idea ever. I just wanted to do my own rendition of the classic form of Mario.
I had a lot of fun doing the palette for this skin. It took a good few tries before I could get rid of some uncomfortable eye-burning colors and make the
whole thingy look groovy. And before you ask me HOW I did the hue shifting, please let me say that I have no idea. There's no special method. There's no
secret. It's all a matter mixing hue shifting with experimentation to get a strange but nice color harmony. Nothing special.
As usual, the palette is kept on the skin file. Feel free to use it at your discretion.:)
