Pinck has always been skittish and paranoid, jumping at shadows, squeaking at sounds, not the most calm of men. His phobias had left him a hermit which is why it wasno t until the zombies were literal breaking down his door that he realized there was no one left. Now he clings to the people heo s always hidden away from. Is that a kind of irony?
