My entry for the undergroud creatures skin contest.

The magma devourer is a very deep underground dweller inside the pits of lava. whats more scary than burning in lava? sure its to fight it it self in an unwinnable battle and burn in its hands.
Magmus  the mamga devourer is a very aggressive creature that have lived for years deep underground, feeding on fire stones and lava and sometimes flesh prey, he doesn't give much information about him self as he is usually hidden in lava pools. maybe one day Magmus will errupt into an apocalyptic rage and sow chaos and distruction upon the world, leaving his lava pits to conquer whats beyond that, but now you can live safe and just stay careful from lava while mining (note: magmus will never appear in lava pools on the surface but its still dangerous after all)
