After the apocalypse, the shattered Minecraft world was blanketed with toxic radiation from the deadly fallout. The sky turned a blood red and the water glowed a bright green. Life in the swamps started to mutate and the evil monstrosities began to appear. It was hypothesized that the once very normal swamp life that inhabited those parts had somehow fused together from the very toxic water where they now lived. Multiple species in the swamps began to disappear with new mutated species appearing in their places. These mutants turned evil and wanted nothing but the revenge for their harsh and painful existence.

The most feared and deadly mutant to ravage the post apocalypse Minecraft world was the Mutant Hydra. It has been said that their existence has come from the fusion of at least two different swamp species. The descriptions of these mutants have been mixed; but we now have a basic idea of what they look like. By most victimso accounts, they have been described as having the body and head of a crocodile with arms and legs made up of snakes. Each snake has its own mouth and brain that thinks and hungers independently with each other along with the crocodile head. Many witnesses have described all four snakes fighting each other for the best parts of a still breathing meal. The single large eyeball that sits above its body works perfect in the swamp waters. The Mutant Hydras can be totally submerged in the green swamp waters and only leave out their single eye to lookout for their next pray. The Mutanto s eye is the last and only thing a victim will see before its demise.
