Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

You'd run the "MCSkin3D.exe" (Windows), using other operating systems... I am unsure about.   Click here to download  (Hint, it's just the "LE 1.4.2.256" button..  It may be outdated)

Hey everyone! I was checking out the recommened skin editors for contests, and this one came up, but on the information, it said that minersneedcoolshoesarmory is banned. Does that mean we aren't alowed to use that website at all, or that we can't take skin parts from there?

When I install it it says my computer doesn't support 32-bit and 16/24-bit will be implemented later.. I'm on Windows Vista.

Since I already have MCSkin3D, how do I update mine? Do I extract the updated version to the same directory, and should I make a backup of my current skins?

Ok, so I downloaded this to view my skin before I change it.  I already made the skin.  How do I open the file to fiew in McSkin3d, and if you cannot what tool can I use to view 1.8 skins!!!!!!!!!!!!

Using the MCSkin3D, there's a selection to choose the model located on the upper right corner. From "Human" change it to "Human 1.8". Of course, after changeing it, it will lack some limbs because of the different model. This time you should add them, then the armor. I hope it helps. (RIP English)

Hello. I have a request. Do you think you could add copy and pasting? As in like using the dropper but for a bigger area? Example: I made my whole character in the armor areas rather than the skin area and want to move it. Thanks a bunch!

Already have a skin maker/editor/ It's called Minecraft SkinEdit. Its actually pretty danm cool. Go look it up on google if you want. The correct download is on the website, "orcsinthebasement.org"

So I tried to edit the pig model and now whenever I go on and try to go back to human it glitches really bad. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it :/

Models are attached to skins. If the skin doesn't have the same aspect ratio between the two models it may cause that problem.

It won't let me use mcskin3d anymore. It used to work fine with this computer, but now everytime i open it, it says: Sorry, your video card does not support a 32-bit format, and then closes itself.

Basically, you'll be making a new folder and dragging it to your desktop(you can label it whatever you want but it is recommended to label it MCSkins3D). Then, once MCSkins is downloaded, you drag the zipped file into the folder you recently made and extracting it there. To open mcskins, click on the application that'll be among the other components of what was stored into the zipped file.

As far as I know, If you mean the app itself, It may not function well or at all. However I haven't quite tested that little detail so if you're daring enough give it a shot. But if my opinion is of any value, I say it might not be worth it.

If you mean the skins that you create, then yes they can. Open the mcskins folder, go to skins, samples, and then head to whichever folder the skin you want is stored in. Then it's all drag and drop from the folder to desktop.

You could always create a shortcut :P Then it will just run as if it was in the folder, and you can have the icon on your desktop.

Just wanted to say that this is extremely useful. This is the only editor I know of that currently shows bottom textures correctly, and while I prefer editing the flat skin file, being able to see the effects on the model helps a ton.
And it works for 1.8. And mobs. And, it does have model editing for people that are into that sort of thing.

If you want to make skins...just get this.

A little update on my earlier comment. I have tried to create skins with the new layer, but when I'm uploading it to minecraft.net, it keeps telling me I have a to high resolution, and simply adds the default coloured template as the new layer instead of the one I created. The same with the program itself, it just doesn't wwant to upload. I really need help to fix this, I have seen others wear new layers.

I can be patient, but do you have any idea on when this will be updated to 1.8? There are plenty of other ways to make skins, but this is by far my favorite and I refuse to use anything other than this.

Paril, one feature that would be extremely useful would be a way to take entire sections of the skin (like taking entire arms or legs) and be able to mirror them on 1.7+ skins
