MCSkin3D Beta 1.4.0.174: http://alteredsoftwo...b_1_4_0_174.zip

Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

I know this probably wont happen and I'm sure other people have been asking this CONSTANTLY but is there a chance... even 1% that this will ever be available on mac?

I go to a school where they give us laptops... but they are macs (even though I LOVE them) and it is true that I have a Toshiba anda HP but I don't really like the keyboards on them (to big for my tiny little hands to use x3) so I would really love it if MCskin3d became available for mac download <3 I hope I don't bother you with my request... you don't have to even read my comment x3 I'm insignificant in the wide sea of other people who need help <3 but thanks if you did read this and are at least considering it ^-^

This as heck. ^^
I've been trying to invest in a Windows PC, but the simple fact is that to find a good one and then install all of the hardware and antivirus software is just far too much work. It's so frustrating getting to see people using MCSKIN3D and having a place to store all of their skins, when I;m stuck using cheap free web apps or skinning on my phone.
As a Mac skinner, I find that it would be especially nice if someone, even if it isn't you, could use their coding knowledge and make this app for Mac. While I love PC users and understand how widely it is used, to be constantly left out because of the platform I use is especially frustrating. If I could buy a PC, I would, but without a job and being a full time student touring colleges/universities all the time, it just can't be a possibility; In conclusion, I hope you can take what us (probably mostly dreadful and whiny) Mac users are saying to heart, and find the time and resources to set up a Mac version, or even a beta test that we could look through for you. Even a barely functioning version of this would make my life thirty times easier.

Much Love,
Elliot || wakasocks

I really love the functions this program has but I'm having a problem with the upload feature in 1.5.0.402. I can't find the small planet button that appears in earlier versions and cannot find another way to upload my skins with MCSkin3D.

Upload was for sending to minecraft.net was removed as it was a bit of a tough feature to maintain (it felt kind of 'wrong' needing to fake a browser upload for it to work).

Have you considered going the way of the online editors and open the browser at the minecraft.net skin page? Would that be simpler than faking the page while retaining a great feature?

Hey Paril the Mighty and glorious, I was wondering if a form of layered part adder could be added to your long list of Things to do. I was thinking that there are plenty of very basic skin creators that completely require you to build with a set list of parts. BUT! with MCS3D, you could craft your own parts to build an easily customization skin...

Yeah, it's easy! If you're using Windows 7 I can guide you (basically copy all of the model files from Paril's download and paste it into the model file in the McSkin3D folder).

On top of all the crash reports, I have a problem. The program lets me edit the colours, customize the brush, and select a skin to edit, but nothing shows up in the area where the skin should be. When I make edits as if the skin were there and save, it saves those edits, but it's really a pain not being able to see what I'm doing. I'm guessing it has something to do with the video card, but anyway, just letting you know. I #BlameParil for this. :)

I find that it works on any, however, I find it very buggy on Mac/Apple products. I know it works great on Windows.

;/ i was working on a skin for maybe 10 hours today. i had saved my work continuesly. and then it suddenly crashes without a notice for a crash report coming up, and then it says i never saved it. im gussing theres no way to regain it? as it just comes up as a blank skin :/

Great program though - ive used it for all my previous skins before i reset my account! and it has everything i need! and you clearly know the body parts when its in 'two-dee'

You just extract it to install, literally two clicks. Eventually I'll make a cross-platform web version, but there are ways to get the legacy version to work on Mac/Linux so I'm not too concerned with making the desktop one cross-platform.

I got a new computer and whenever I open MCskin3D, the gui shows but everything is blank. No textures, no files, no nothing. All of the files (brushes, skins, etc.)  are completely blank. I'd love near immediate help since I reallyyyy need to get back to skinning.

1.5 legacy is at the bottom of the post. That was before the major change. The missing files are just the extra skins and models, which you can get from http://alteredsoftworks.com/mcskin3d/v1_5/mcskin3d_samples.zip - if 1.5 legacy doesn't work, 1.4 won't work either.

I don't suggest 1.4 because it had some major issues that I don't want to get bug reports for because I already fixed it in 1.5.

Please help me get this program to work. I have a few skin commissions I need to work on and I don't want to keep the clients waiting. I've been trying to fix it for weeks now.
