Version 1.5.0.300 is out! Mostly bug-fixes, but here's a changelog:

- Lightened the load even more.
- Made program more portable
- New Skin now defaults to 1.8 human
- New Skin now checkerboards the default area instead of white, makes it easier to see in 2D view
- All "Delete" operations now send to Recycle Bin
- Fixed a huge issue with the root folder (should fix any issues with moving, cloning and renaming)
- New/Copied skins and folders now properly use the New prefix, and refer to language files for "New", "Copy", etc.
- Tree view default height was wrong, caused some distortion on heads.
- Re-upgraded to .NET 4.0
- Reduced size of exception messages
- Moved tool options dropdown to top-right

Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

when I download it, it doesn't work it just downloads a file with folders inside but how do I open the actually app to use it?

How do you toggle between the headgear and the actual head when you are changing the heads color. i really need help with this.

Disable the headwear to get to the head. There are quick buttons on the top-right toolbar to disable certain body parts.

Shading is an art technique, it's not something that a program can do for you. Stamp is a very simple copy/paste utility, the bottom bar explains how to use it when it's selected.

There is a tool called Darken/Lighten and there you can decide if you are making the color darker or lighter as well as decide how much darker/lighter you want to make it

Almost everyone is posting errors here. You have errors because your pc/ laptop isn't updated, to be specific, you need to update your graphic card. Happens to every computer I try to install it in.

Your system is likely unsupported, it managed to throw an error before the main window even had a chance to set up. Not sure what the error is exactly from here though.

Hey so When i choose Alex non minimal i can only change One arm and One leg... Is that meant to happen or is that a glitch?

Hi,

Mc Skin was perfectly working for me until a few days ago. Whenever i launch the program it crashes after a few seconds. "Mc Skin 3D has stopped working". I don't have any crash reports or anything else, just the previous windows message about the program. (I use Windows 10 and the Mc skin was working perfectly on it until recently). I have tried to réinstall it, even with older versions and there's nothing to do.

Can someone bring some help ? :)

Which one? All the older zips are still valid, you can check the Update Logs to fetch them. The older ones had some pretty major issues though (esp related to skins disappearing), I don't recommend any of them.

I can no longer open the program! I've had many issues with the program before. After redownloading it MCSKIN 3D worked. Until I used my computer the next time. It said Application Error and would not open the editor. I'm frustrated as I don't want to redownload it whenever I'd like to use it.

I redownloaded the program and extracted the newly downloaded files and replaced the ones I previously had. All my skins are saved and it is currently working.

I'd recommend using a program called "Wine", it is a Windows emulator which runs most programs and games really well, and, though, I have not tested this program with Linux, I'd say it will work.

I've been trying to use the latest version, but every time i try opening it, it says I'm missing some default language files. Idk if the report will help but here;

You can turn off the base skins in the Options. It's more of a convenience function for the other models honestly, but I expected most people would just blank the skin out anyways.
