Update #6 : 01/15/2012 8:22:59 am1/15/12

MCSkin3D Beta 1.4.0.174: http://alteredsoftwo...b_1_4_0_174.zip

Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

As always, follow our Facebook page for more news:

New beta. Only changes are I fixed the text on the model drop-down, fixed Villager's chest not being transparent (not noticeable in old system), and added depth sorting:

I have a lot of computer problems, so it took me months to even try and download this, but when I finally did... I swear I heard angels sing! This program is everything I need! Now I don't need to open up photoshop when I wanna make a skin xD Thank you so much for this absolute gift of a program!

Hello. I have a model I am working on right now, and I'd like to know if it's possible to import custom models into MCSkin3D for texturing. Does it support this in the first place? And do you know how I might go about compiling .xml objects from .java objects?

How could one add custom models to the program? I use this in combination with Techne to skin stuff and going back and forth is getting kinda tedious

I was making a skin today, but for some reason my cursor glitched and it's not in the right place. It's about 2 centimetres above where my cursor actually is, and I have no idea why. :/

how do you shade? or copy and paste? I tried watching some youtube videos but they didn't help at all

Shading is an art technique, it's not something that a program can do for you. Stamp is a very simple copy/paste utility, the bottom bar explains how to use it when it's selected.
Edit Reply Delete
Sorry, for the shading i meant how do you make the color darker or lighter? or do you have to just do it manually?

There is a tool called Darken/Lighten and there you can decide if you are making the color darker or lighter as well as decide how much darker/lighter you want to make it

thanks

If your talking about the MCSkin3D then you can just make a file on your desktop or really anywhere and place it in there and unzip it. After that you run the program by clicking or double clicking the MCSkin3D Application in the file.
