- Moved tool options dropdown to top-right

Update #6 : 01/15/2012 8:22:59 am1/15/12

MCSkin3D Beta 1.4.0.174: http://alteredsoftwo...b_1_4_0_174.zip

Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

As always, follow our Facebook page for more news:

I don't really mind that you don't have the Mac/Macbook version it's your decision. But I was wondering why you don't support it.

Please and thank you

If MCSkin3D doesn't open, could it have something to do with my graphics driver? I gotta install this chipset software, but can't. I contacted Intel about it, but for now, I can't use programs like Minecraft.

If you've got an older Intel HD chipset, you may not have drivers for Windows 10. It's a known problem, and I dunno if Intel will be fixing that to be honest.

So I just got around to downloading the newest update and there's no sign of the pony model. I tried moving mlp folder over to the newer version but the models are missing parts. Is there maybe fix for that?

It was working fine for me, but recently I made another skin, specified where to save it to, saved it and it wasn't there when I checked. I have tried multiple times to save the PNG image in various places, but the only way I can access it is by importing a new skin in MCSkin. I even tried copying it from the program's explorer to my computer but Windows says it does not exist.
Any help on the issue would be very much appreciated.

Hi! So does this not work for mac? When I downloaded this program on my apple/mac laptop it sent me a bunch of weird characters such as "MZê[email protected]∫¥ Õ!∏LÕ!This program cannot be run in DOS mode.
$PEL€HW‡ " is this supposed to happen? Thanks.

Is there a way to download it without the link? Because my adware blocker is unable to be turned off and I cannot access the website as a result!

Thank you! ~Kasy

I don't use ad links or anything of the sort, it's just directly linked to the .zip file.

By that you mean the github link correct? Not the altered softworks page?

No, the AS ones. AlteredSoftworks is just my own domain, I only host files on it, I don't serve content. There aren't any ads on it or anything.

Hi. I've been trying to get the higher resolution option into a skin I can use on Minecraft. Can anyone tell me how?

Ever since I updated to 1.6, the cursor hasn't been mapping properly when i attempt to edit a skin that's had its resolution increased. I'll move to draw on the chest and the pixels on the face are getting changed, or I'll try to color on the arm and the whitespace over the leg is getting colored.
Is there an older version available so I can get back to making my HD skins, or is there a way to make the mapping be right under the cursor like before?

Does the latest version work? Does it only break with high resolution? I didn't test with high/low so maybe that's why.

The latest version works, but it only breaks with a high resolution skin. As soon as I increase the resolution, the pixel i go to color is offset by a fairly large amount. I tried to give an example here;

Thanks a bunch! I dont know what I'd do without your skinning tool, its pretty much the only thing that works for me at this point. Can't wait for the patch to drop!

Never posted here, but have been using this program for the last 3 years at least, cannot use anything else, nothing compares.

Anyways, thanks for the incredible program, can't thank you enough for your hard work.
