Pinocchio was a little wooden puppet made by a woodcarver named Geppetto. This little puppet moved freely and interacted with people as he chose. Although good natured, Pinocchio lied fairly frequently and everytime he did his nose grew and grew.
This little puppet wished and dreamed that one day he could be a real boy, a normal boy. One day the puppet was visited by a fairy after many mischievous situations fall on his lap, and he was turned into a real boy.
I mean, i think.... totally didn't paraphrase from Wikipedia but uh yeah.
Kind of a more darker portrayal of Pinocchio; not a huge fan of the hokey appearance of his in the Disney film.
