As everyone knows every god was created because of an element on earth. When humans were created they became scared: of the darkness, monsters outside, of the gods they worships. But these fears went out of control all dreams became nightmares; the humans became so scared they never left the caves they lived in or went to sleep. They became insane from insomnia and were drove to eating the others who lived in the cave or even themselves. The gods where not pleased that this was happening. A god was to be born soon so they decided to make it the god of fears. He was named Nightmarus and saved humans from their nightmares. But alas, the fears corrupted him he became evil and fed off the fears of the humans from the depths of the underworld naming himself not only the god of fears, but also the god of nightmares and darkness.
