Dr. Gregory Vandel
Born August 27th 1873
Died November 8th, 1960.
Dr. Vandel started his career at a young age and continued to impact the medical and scientific fields in very significant ways until his late seventies. In 1902, at just twenty-nine years of age, Dr. Vandel was credited with creating the first ever successful nanobot to actively seek and destroy a target cell. With this first major breakthrough, Dr. Vandel went on to revolutionize the world with his nanotechnology.
Upon the release of the Vandel Nanobot, he was quoted as saying, "Praise not the creator, but the creation. For any number of men might have created, but there could only be one creation." With his modest view of his contribution, and his humanitarian spirit,Dr. Vandel offered all of his nanotechnology to the world at cost, making little money from the actual products.
Despite countless offers ofexorbitantsums of money for the rights to his inventions, the doctor maintained that it remain accessible to all stating that, "If no man shall support his fellows in their needs, who will?"
Dr. Vandel went on to create several more varieties of nanobots, and single-handedly eliminated almost all disease afflicting the human race. But he did not stop there, he continued to work in nanotechnology and eventually, in conjunction with Dr. Elias Orkas III, created the Vandel-Orkas Refraction Positive Alignment Lens Device. (see Fig. 1) For more on this device see "Vandel-Orkas Refraction Positive Alignment Lens Device" Vol. 22, Page 32.

Update #4 : by Mrwhitepantz 11/19/2011 2:10:49 amNov 19th, 2011
-Extended the shoulders of his vest slightly, I like it a bit better.
-Shaded things slightly better than I had previously
-Added a few more details around the pockets
Side note: I had wanted to put something on his back, but after using the skin to play for awhile I feel that it is actually quite good exactly how it is. As such, I am calling him complete.
