Noctis, from when what is now known as Final Fantasy XV, when he was announced in Final Fantasy Versus XIII, a side game to both Type-0 and XIII itself in the "Fabula Nova Crystallis" lore. The games had little links between them besides a similar mythos.

In the end, Fabula Nova Crystallis was dropped, XIII became its own game, Agito- later known as Type-0- was Japan-only, and Versus XIII was delayed to hell and back.

Quick poll- Who else here thinks that compared to old trailer, mostly the 2011 gameplay trailer, XV is a steaming pile of garbage? I mean, i know the old trailers were purely conceptual- Meaning that there was also no real development until 2013- THANKS, SQUARE, FOR ANNOUNCING THE GAME AT A TIME THAT WAS NECESSARY (/sarcasm)- but the game was visioned as what was seen in said concepts. The combat and areas looked better in the 2011 trailer than in the final game, that's a-given, and the characters looked cooler in trailers from before 2011, when Noctis had the typical Final Fantasy trenchcoat used by so many emos in the series. What do you all think?
