The main body is the ruined skin of a surviver with the hair lost that would have occured during nuclear winter. The overlay represents the types of cloths you'd need to wear in a nuclear winter as you'd need to cover all your skin to protect from uv-rays and it would need to be black and think to protect from cold. The gas mask would is a type were the vent is elsewere or it could be the type were the owner breaths from a small comprest tank, they both look the same and so it doesn't matter which it is.
