Karin slowly raised her head as her vision cleared. The ground seemed to have stopped shaking, like ithad been however long ago, before she'd passed out. Slowly she sat up, trying to discern her surroundings. The ground was covered in grass and moss, almost as if the earthquakes had encouraged them to sprout. She reached towards the wall, when she froze at the sight of the flowering vines encircling her arms.

She stared in complete shock at the vines for a few minutes, trying to figure out what had happened. Finally the conclusion hit her - whatever had caused those earthquakes had some effect on her, and probably any other surviving animal out there. Using the wall for support, she shakily got to her feet and made her way to the door and peered out into the fields ahead. Nature had seemed to overcome the other buildings she had known so well, and animals roamed the open land freely.

For a moment, Karin hesitated. Even now, withnearly everything gone for good, could she really risk venturing into this unknown territory? She took a deep breath. In this world, she thought, it's now or never. I have nothing to lose...

...and everything to gain.

She pulled the door open and stepped out into the new world... of Minecraft.

Name: Karin Luery

Backstory: Just your ordinary girl down the street... well, back then. An earthquake - or something of the sort - had taken her home village, and when she came to, here she was, in a world where nature seemed dominant, wild animals roamed freely, and strange - and definitely dangerous - monstersclaimed the dark. Karin herself was caught in this natural overrun, now part plant herself. She now roams the land, a cat by her side, searching for any other survivors and trying her hardest to protect them when she does.

Personality: Shy and stoic. She tends to keep to herself, often trying to keep from connecting with anyone. (While she wouldn't admit it aloud, this is her method to save her own feelings; losing someone hurts a lot more when you knew them well.) She rarely displays emotion, and can often end up sounding annoyed or sarcastic. If you can befriend her (and good luck in doing so) she is a bit more open. Not by much, but it's something.

Likes: Cats, music, getting to explore on her own

Dislikes: Dogs, anything that threatens other humans, getting too close to others

Twisted Reality: ...honestly, the world of Minecraft itself is the twist in reality. She goes from a regular girl in a modern-day town to one of a few humans in a nature-dominant world with some of the strangest creatures to ever exist. And I'm not even counting the blocky appearance of everything. She herself has been affected similarly, being overrun by plant life as well.
