Polo is a bear trying to survive the dark and cold arctics.
what makes him special is that he was born blind and and brave soul.
Just after he was born a bunch of men came an killed them, but they didn't see polo because his mom knew that some people were after them, so his mom hid' him in small hole with food inside.
after a few years polo was found by a hunter, but he didn't slaughter him, but instead kept him inside a home with lots of fish that could last him for a year, after a couple months they became friends and yada yada.
then one day polo went outside to go and just roam around, he lost the ship. he couldn't find his way back, he is blind but he can hear things really well, but he couldn't hear the whistling of the ship. polo gave up. he just sat there just like he used to do.. but suddenly then ice beneath him cracked and fell apart, polo fell in the water and drowned...

the end (True story)

after the person that found polo saw him floating dead.
