As you stagger through the barren desert, something in the distance catches your eye. You can barely make it out through the sandstorm that blasts your face, but you could almost swear it's a cactus wearing clothes. Despite your thirst and exhaustion and the strong inkling that its all just a mirage, you stagger towards the strange sight. Upon closer inspection, you realize that, contrary to your every expectation, the illusion has not evaporated into thin air - it is standing before you, clear as day. You reach out your hand to touch it but recoil upon contact with the sharp spines. Just as you're wondering who in their right mind would put clothes on a cactus, the thing moves, raising one thorn-covered arm in greeting, causing you to jump back in alarm. "Howdy pardner!" it says in a deep, rough voice. Awestruck, you stare at it with your mouth hanging wide open, unsure how to respond...
