Purple Pikmin are a large, purple species of Pikmin that reside on PNF-404. Their defining physical characteristics are their purple color, as the name would imply, as well as their bulbous physique when compared to other Pikmin, in addition to the straight trichomes atop their heads. The buds and flowers of Purple Pikmin are magenta rather than white, similar to White Pikmin.
