As a little girl she always loved bows and crossbows, and despite the other girls making fun of her for it she never gave up the dream of being a Royal Archer. This all changed when one day the previous king had her parents arrested because they were an hour behind on paying their taxes, confused and distraught she ran away into a nearby forest and was never found ever again. As she was running away, she fell into a ditch of thorny bushes and severely injured her eyes. Now blind and in pain, she tried her best to struggle free, but that only made it worse. She would've been dead of it wasn't for some forest Elves that found and rescued her. They took her to their hidden village and treated her wounds, but despite their efforts they were unable to repair her eyes, as they were permanently damage. It took many weeks for her to come to terms to her situation and finally sit up from the bed where they were healed at. The caretaker reassured her and decided to raise her, but it was a slow and delicate process. After a decade she was basically seen as one of them, and her personality, as well as her love for archery had returned to her, practicing for years until she was finally confident in her abilities. One day while on patrol she found a group of people in black and red outfits, she followed them for a while until one of them senses her presence and ordered her to show herself. Confused and surprise, but not wanting trouble she jumped down from a tree she was on, bow and arrow ready but not pointed at them. She asked the woman who they were, she introduced herself as Queen Cosima and her group. At first there was a misunderstanding when she heard which kingdom they were from, but after she explained it all and their mission, she asked if she could join them, they accepted and made her a custom Royal Archer outfit, an outfit that she always dreamed of getting. Despite being a bit difficult, she personally customized her outfit to represent where she was raised from.
