Scathar was your average deckhand in his early days, scrubbing, hustling, and constantly following orders. However, one day, while sailing, the ship was destroyed in a violent attack by another crew. There seemed to be no survivors, and when Scathar woke up, he was in a critical condition. He was missing a leg, and was horribly disfigured on one side of his face. Scathar crawled over to the wreckage. He compiled scrap metals and materials, and set to work, building himself new limbs, pixel by pixel. Eventually, Scathar was able to use his new robotic "appliances" to enhance his physical performance greatly. He created himself a guantlet, capable of smashing through walls, and firing 4 musket-bullets at one time. With his new power/mobility, Scathar created a small sailing vessel, and sailed in the direction  of the mainland in search of a worthy pirate crew.
