Hey y'all! Eli here! Welp, it's finally here. That time of year where you can get candy and dress up as anything while not getting made fun of. Yes, I'm talking about Halloween. Though, if you aren't feeling enough of the spooky spirit to go outside and buy a costume, it's why I've presented you poor unfortunate souls with 2019's rendition of Spooky Scary Blog Month!
"But Eli!" Hi, Magikarp. What do you want? "What is Spooky Scary Blog Month? If it's a blog month, where are my gosh dang blogs!? I need your opinion on Haunted Attractions Now!! Nyeh!" Hey, chill. Spooky Scary Blog Month is normally a month where I present Halloween blogs with ghoulish delight, but this year, I'm not really feeling the blog making spirit and decided to make a skin instead. Why? Mostly because I ran out of ideas and I was too busy roleplaying with friends. Speaking of which, let's talk about the origin of my OC's OC, Elsaba!
Hey, who says OCs can't have OCs of their own? Nobody. So one day, Eli was getting hooked on this play that you all know as "Wicked," mostly because she has green skin herself (due to a lab accident if you don't know already) just like the main protagonist, Elphaba. But something about that witch seemed familiar, something that Eli just couldn't put her finger on. The more Eli pondered, she realized that the person who played Elphaba was the same one who voiced Elsa in the movie, Frozen! Amazed by this new discovery, she decided to combine the two into one epic yet wince-worthy original character, Elsaba. "She's got super cool ice powers along with magic spells as well!" She states. "But she's not just a Mary Sue who gets her way. She was a normal girl who was born with ice powers and spell knowledge, but one day, she accidentally used her ice magic on an old fashioned radiator, and the acid inside splooshed her and turned her skin green! Ashamed of her looks, she runs away from her family and lives in her own ice tower, doomed to deal with her insecurities all alone (along with causing an eternal winter, but that's not important!) until the power of sisterly friendship brings her back and stops icy madness she caused!" And now she decides to dress up as her for Halloween, and has to explain to everyone that she's not just a witch in a purple cape.
So, there you have it! Until I think of another blog idea for SSBM, live life the porposeful way and enjoy these memes. See you!
