This is a Teutonic Knight! This knight joined the order right when it started, which was at the end of the 12th century in the city of "Acre". This was a holy order of German knights established during the Crusades to help the devoted men and women that are making a pilgrimage to the "Holy Land" and to build hospitals to help the wounded.
