Age 14, 2017-2018

Yup, it's another one of those years where you can't POSSIBLY guess the main thing that happened...
There were a lot of crazy weather events..
Tbf there actually were! Hurricane Ophelia came through in October, then in February-March we had the Beast from the East, and then we had a huge drought and resulting heatwave that summer.
But yes, this was the year I got into Monstercat, and to some extent EDM in general. And just like a lot of my other interests, when I got into it, I REALLY got into it!
If anyone's curious, the songs that got me into the label were Against the Sun and We Won't Be Alone, but the artists I listened to the most at first were Tristam and Au5. The first song I remember seeing when it first released was Puppet - Dynamo. I basically joined right before the Uncaged-Instinct split. My favourite genre was and still is Trance, with Progressive House and Electro (House) following closely behind.
