The Blur is a creature hidden amongst the fog and rain, waiting ever so patiently to be encountered... The way it was created is so bizarre you won't even believe it... but trust me: now you know about him, you have a higher chance of meeting him while you play minecraft so you must watch out. When it rains, you MUST turn it off just to take precautions.

When Notch was creating the codes for Minecraft, he made a terrible mistake. A mistake unchangeble throughout Minecraft and so dangerous to the community that it terrifies even the most advanced Minecraft players. He accidently made a code that spawned a creature which is uncontrolled and blood-thirsty. For some unknown reason, it seems to hold a weapon which is shaped like a mace; but everything about him is completely blurred so no one can really tell. It is such an intelligent being too since if it sees something that looks man-made such as a door, it will know that you are around there somewhere...

When you hear spooky sounds in a cave, it dosen't only mean that there is an opening, it means that The Blur could be around somewhere. Notch aimed this at players who knew about him though
