Hey y'all!

So, another two months go by and I'm finally posting again! (I really need to post more consistently, and not just when I get a request... xD) This skin was a request from StatixGaming, and they wanted it to be fashioned after their YouTube channel profile picture and original character, Igneeus. Well, here it is, and thank you for the request! Another rather unusual character for me to make, yet it seems my last few posts have this trend. So, maybe this is becoming my normal? I'm not quite sure! :P


Anyways, about the skin itself... It is a green robot with console controller eyes. I tried to have a game controller feel to the skin as a whole, but it didn't exactly follow that trend entirely :P At some point it branched off into robot territory. I'll spare the exact details up here, and leave them in the features part of this description. Regardless, this skin was a bit of a challenge for me, and I'm not entirely happy with the results, but not disappointed either, considering, I got to experiment and once again go out of my comfort zone ^~^ Shading very light colors is a bit difficult, and something I need to keep working with. In some spots of this skin, such as the hands, it seems at first glance as though I didn't even bother to shade the white at all, when in reality, I did. Regardless, I did mess around quite a bit with the overlay on this skin though!! That was extremely fun for me to experiment with, considering I've never really done it. Having it so you could just barely see the wires peeking out from underneath the paneling, or so the belt was covering the hip joints but you could still see the "joint" underneath. I really got the feel of how to use it for detailing and I hope so utilize that more in the future :)

Features: light green shaded base, white game controller eyes, ears, and antenna on top of head, various colorful game buttons on chest, white/light gray pauldrons on shoulders, various exposed wires on wrists covered by white paneling, white hip joint covered by black flexible paneling on torso, protruding knee joint (robot's right, your left), and inverse colored flexible paneling on feet that covers foot joints
