They were gaining on him, and there was nothing he could do. Dave ran as fast as he could, but he was quickly tiring, and they outnumbered him. The barren wastelands of New York were as dead as the people around him. The horrid images flashed in Dave's mind. The nukes, the radiation, the paranormal activity, and his best friends joining the dead. There was no time to think, Dave had to keep running on.

Soon, running became impossible, and Dave's only hope was to find shelter and hide. Up. He thought. They can't go up. Dave run upstairs to a tall skyscraper overlooking the city. This was the perfect place, but he needed food. After the night, he scanned the landscape, and seeing nothing, he went out. There was nothing in sight, but suddenly, he heard a strange moaning. He turned around, and saw a gruesome, bloody zombie staring back at him. Dave tried to run, but it was to no avail. The zombie got him.
