Allright, so I loooove Kingdom Hearts. It's my favorite game series ever, and this has to be one of my favorite characters from the series. :D
Vanitas, a being made of pure darkness, created when master Xehanort extracted the darkness out of Ventus's heart. The darkness took shape as this "masked boy". Because he is part of Ventus's heart, and Ventus is a keyblade wielder, Vanitas can also wield a keyblade.
But enough backstory, you should just go play the game, it's simply amazing :)
