Long ago, there lived a man in the forest. He was a kind man who lived alone in an average sized wooden hut. One day, he went mining for diamonds, when he came across a glowing piece of stone that looked very suspicious. Upon mining the stone, he realized it had a face. He had never seen anything like it. Foolishly, he didn't drop it, and continued his search for diamond. He soon came to a large pool of lava, when he heard a voice. "Put me down, or you'll regret coming here..." said the voice. The man soon realized it was the suspicious looking piece of stone he had mined a few minutes ago. The man refused to put the stone down, in hopes that it would provide him a mineral better than diamond. He continued walking along the edge of the lava pool, hoping to find diamonds. "I'm warning you, put me down now!" said the voice. The man was unnerved now, and was about to put the stone down when he spotted a cluster of diamonds. He immediately forgot about the warning and started to build a makeshift bridge out to the diamond cluster. "I'll tell you one more time. Put me down!" warned the stone, but the man didn't listen, for he was too consumed in his greed for diamonds. The stone then took control of the man's body, and made him jump into the pool of lava. The stone forgot to take its spirit from the man's body, though, and as the man died, he fused with the man and the lava, making the Stone Abomination. Now, the beast roams the earth with two faces. One portraying the man's greed and his rage while he died, and the other showing the monster's eternal suffering.
