It twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
That was until Elfa came through the door, carrying a small sized sack and a big ego. Elfa was the newest Santa recruit for when he retired. This was her first Christmas and she was ready for some fun.
Elfa placed all the presents under the tree, waiting and watching to see what she could see. Suddenly, a girl came though, only the very small age of two.
The girl watched and she waited, and she waited and watched for Santa Claus to show himself. But alas, it wasn’t Santa who appeared, but good ol’ Elfa with her pointed-topped ears.
She tried to explain and tried in a hurry. But the girl just left in the upmost scurry. Elfa tried and Elfa tried but she couldn’t get the girl to come out until… She had an idea.
Elfa huffed and she puffed and she dragged the big ol’ bag until it tipped over to reveal a puppy for the girl.
That morning the girl woke in surprise, to see with her eyes, but a puppy all cloaked in brown with a big old bow and a tongue lolling out.
And that kids, was the Christmas Elfa became the new Santa *Closes book*
