Wow! Surprisingly I did NOT make an extremely deep message about the dark parts of humanity and make it vaguely connect to the skin I created! (Sorry Urban Legends judges lol)
Some of you who have been around a long time may remember my first time entering PBL (Remember when THAT was a thing, guys?), having a fun time freaking out over how a horrible skinner like me was supposed to make a decent skin when I was up against THIS amazing competition. I forced myself to come up with an idea, put together something that looked really good for a first time PBL competitor (aside from the shoes. The shoes are awful.), and think up of a backstory (even though that part wasn't really necessary). If I remember correctly, the one-sentence-long backstory was created because I was inspired by the palette - whites and dark purples. Somehow I moved onto the next round because of this skin, which I was really happy about.
This contest's theme made me think about that skin again, and I decided to do a Part 2 that shows what the White Knight of Corruption looks like after one and a half years of...corruption. Why's his armor brown instead of purple? Combination of rust, fading, decay, etc. I'm still leaving the backstory vague so your mind can fill in the gaps and interpret it your own way.
Also, I'm beginning to think at this point it's some sort of ongoing tradition for me to include a cape with every contest skin I create, except for, you know, when it would actually make sense to include a cape with the bloody contest skin.
