The little contrast was perposly done. It's supposed to look smooth from far away. ( a tut showed me ) also, I have a different method of shading than you.

Bro, its good that you have a different style than I do :) But to tell you the truth I don't notice the shading at all! :( Smooth shading does not mean little contrast, it depends on where you put the pixels and the same goes with rough shading. i tried to use the shading you told me to use (+15, -15) but it looked really bad for the skin. :P

That's Why I like how smooth it is now. I actually used a pallete so maybe i should go back to dodge/burn...

But bro, it looks like you went from +15 -15 to +3 -3 :P Take a look a this tutorial, and it'll show you how smooth shading works: http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/shading-skins/ and heres an example of a skin that used that kind of shading: http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/smiley-girl/ No need to go back to dodge and burn :)

im too busy to make skins so im probably not even gonna post anymore.

ik my skin sucked but you can at least say something good about it. all you've been doing is critiquing skins that i'm not gonna even work on anymore. 0.o
