I think it would be less work to just add a few blue pixels, but if you had something else in mind, then go for it! Maybe you could do something like this but with different colors of everything, and maybe different designs. You could try a different hairstyle, I know that bangs look cute, but I'd like to see you stretch your abilities. :D
