Features
This texture pack aims for a more customized experience of the new 1.16 snapshots with a more appropriate panorama without the unnecessary garbage that comes with most texture packs.
- Updated panorama to match the nether update
- Gradient overlay has been removed
- Blurred background to create depth
About
Hello, I've always had a taste of disgust for the vanilla panorama. With the new 1.16 snapshots, I was waiting for an appropriate panorama of the new nether update and after seven updates, I've yet to see one. I was sick of seeing a bee accompanied by that oh so ugly white and black gradient on top of the images for way too long.
I was wondering how no one else made a texture pack that fixes this problem and this problem only, so that's why I made my own to help alleviate your eyes.
What's Happening
Nothing fancy is being done here, I took some screenshots of a location I was pleased with, applied a Gaussian Blur with a horizontal and vertical radius of 10px onto each of the images, and finally, I did the Lord's work and got rid of the eye sore of an overlay.

It's super simple! All you have to do is rotate your characters head a few times and you're already half-way there!
The first thing you want to do is find your location and pick a starting position. When you frame the area you like, press F3 on your keyboard.
When you press F3, you'll see some text saying, "Facing: NESW" followed up by 2 digits in brackets; that's your head rotation. Mark it down somewhere if it is an ugly number.
Next what you want to do is to type this command in chat:
note: *replace everything in red with your values that you want*
/tp @p ~ ~ ~ X Y
now take a screen shot and rotate your character's head X+90 and repeat this another 3 times, and take two screenshots of the sky and the ground. You should now have a total of 6 screenshots.
Put them in your resource pack directory, rename them, and you're done!
The Simple Version:
- markdown your character's head position
- use this command: /tp @p ~ ~ ~ 0 0
- add 90 to your x-axis ^ (this one)
- take a screenshot
- repeat 3 more times and take one of the sky and the ground
- rename them
Take care :^)
