We all know the bow and fishing rod viewmodels changed in 1.8. But actually all item viewmodels were changed slightly. This 1.7 viewmodel pack is availible for versions 1.8 and 1.13, which has altered item jsons that heavily mimic those of versions 1.7 and under. I didn't bother with 1.9-1.12 because they involved the pack 2 & 3 format which completely changed the jsons where i couldn't mess with anything without trouble. I just didn't have enough sanity to go through with that.

Q & A's

Q: Does this work with resource packs?
A: Yes it does, make sure the resource pack you want to use is underneath mine and also fully compatible with 1.13 (or 1.8 depending on what pack you're using).

Q: Will this pack be updated?
A: You bet! Because all items after 1.7 were changed i'm going to be making all items as similar as possible. Over time i will update the pack with a chunk of re-scaled items until everything has been done.

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Mostly for looks and slight nostalgia. PVPers like this stuff too, which is why i made it for 1.8 also. It's an even easier method than downloading a mod that tries to mimic 1.7 but fails (talking about the bow here).

Q: What will be in update 1.4?
A: Left hand support (if i can actually figure it out)
