Cløckwørk Scythe


It's a very complicated 3D model that took me hours to replicate. It's based off of this:NOW WITH MOVING COGS! - (Animated 3D Model/Weapon) ⚙Clockwork Scythe⚙ Minecraft Texture Pack
image that I found. I think https://www.wattpad.com/user/-KAORIMARU owns it but he could've just taken it from somewhere else. At first I tried to color it and it doesn't look bad but I just liked the aesthetic of the picture in itself so I made a monochrome/desaturated variant. Then I wanted to animate the clock. (I wanted to animate the cogs too but it would take so damn much time...) *took just an hour*

(Moving Cogs, yay! Problem is that it doesn't look good with the normal tick-tacking that was going 1 time per second, if you want to customize the animation speed - open the .mcmeta files and change the "frametime" value. The pack has 2 versions:

-Replacer version that makes the diamond and netherite swords into the scythes

-Optifine requiring CIT verison that makes iron, diamond and netherite swords OR axes into the scythes whenever named either "Clockwork Scythe" or "Monochrome Clockwork Scythe"


Installatiøn:
-Download
-Unzip the archive
-Place the folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks (usually found in %appdata%)
-Load it from the game





Feel free to use this. Include it in giant CIT packs, your maps (Maybe make something like Elder Scrolls' Dwemer Ruins themed map? *Ahem... Clockwork mod...*) or try to improve something to your taste!

•fun fact - a team of skyrim modders made a story-driven quest mod that became it's own game, it's not "clockwork" but "the forgotten city"•

The most recent comment was 3 months ago, so I only hope you see this. I was wondering whether you'd be able to update to the 1.20 versions, and if not, help me fix the broken textures. The model works, but the coloring and such is the common purple and black broken texture.

I just checked my account and I have to say that this is nanochrome and not monochrome... Technically still passes but you know. Anyways.

Dude, is there any chance you could recreate the non-animated version for bedrock edition please? I'd really love to be able to use it! (if by some magic the animated one works as well, thank you even more!)

Bedrock has more options for animation as I'm aware, or is it the Windows 10 edition or whatever...?



It is possible to use it but I'm not sure how things work there. If you are willing enough to learn how to do it, you have permission to upload and share the file.

for the replacer version it says .rar instead of .zip do u know how to fix this?

I renamed it to CS-CIT.zip but it said that there was nothing in it. I'm confused

Oh, it's just me forgetting to get it to .zip format since I use the .rar usually. You can rename it really, but in the end you have to open the archive and get the folder out.
