Yeah, you can have a 4x4 pack. Why, I don't know. I made this primarily because I could.
No, I'm not going for a 2x2 pack, that would be silly.

Now at 1.9

Well....maybe I'll consider a 2x2 pack.

This isn't 4x4, it's just 8x8. And a 2x2 is impossible, because Minecraft is composed of squares, not rectangles. Think about it.

A texture pack gets it's resolution from the number of pixels x the number of pixels each square is in the png file. In this file each square is 4x4. It's an 8x8 that's been reduced by half.
Also you fail at math. 2x4 would be a rectangle, 2x2 is still a square. Actually it's the first square., hence 2x4= 4 and the sqrt of 4=2.
Anyway Yes it's virtually 4x4. MC changes it into 8x8, but the file size is still ridiculously tiny.
I did make a 2x2 pack and I'll upload that in a bit just to spite you.
There are no tools done in that one because that would be a waste.

Good to know. 16x16, 16 pixels tall and wide.. If you want to double the resolution, 32x is twice as detailed. 128x, you get my point. And Minecraft does not change the way the texture looks. I admit, I mistook some ice blocks and counted an 8x8 square. And I was wrong about a 2x2 pack. My friend was going to make a 2x2, but he described it as a 4x4 (he's a fail at math, not me). Anyway, sorry for my bad eyesight and misunderstanding. I never thought about it in-depth. It's funny, cause I was gonna make the 2x2 for my friend.

So true. That's why it was for my friend, not me (remind me to send this to him). And besides, I just started a 32x pack using the SummerField Pack as a template. >:D Which means I can't upload it till it's done. Frickin' copyright... :[-

If Notch were to make stuff like this default and then auto zooming it,there would be absolutly no lag '-'

Good question. I'll run some tests and I think I will try to make this a workable pack.
