A few basic changes to improve your gaming experience.

Changes:

  • Removed faces on un-crafted pumpkins
  • Changed the look of dispensers
  • Changed redstone to be easier to keep track of
  • Changed redstone repeaters to match redstone
  • Changed furnaces so that when on, the top part appears to be burning as well
  • Changed mushrooms to look more like their giant versions
  • Added a skull to mob spawners to look more menacing
  • Changed redstone lamps to look fancier
  • Changed dandelions to look more like dandelions
  • Changed lapis blocks to look like bricks
  • Changed sugarcane to look more realistic
  • Changed glowstone to look less like cobble
  • Changed the door's window
  • Changed obsidian's texture
  • Made glass more clear

Hope you like all of the changes! I am accepting any input from the community and will try to make it happen. E-mail me at: antelope.enigma@gmail.com

Most of these textures were my idea and all were my creation, however, some of these changes were suggested by TXFDA. Thanks so much

Thank you guys so much for all of this input! I have begun working on the suggestions made by TXFDA. Yes TheCommunityGamersUK I would, but make it after I add all of the changes previously mentioned. Thank you all again for all of your help!

If I was to make a texture pack showcase would you upload it to this page?

Could use pictures of the rest of the things. But if you're gonna make a basic edit, why not change some other things? . Just sayin, if you're gonna make something so simple, why not go all out and change a LOT of things, just only change them a little. There's a lot of blocks that could use better textures. lol

-Obsidian I always thought looked kinda bland, plus it has a weird square pattern to it if you have a bunch together.
-Clear glass, obviously.
-Better windows on doors
-Bed shading always looked a bit shiny to me, could be modified.
-Maybe make tree trunks/logs have some shading on both sides to look more rounded
-Sugarcane I always thought, was way too bright and neon green.
-Adding a bit of light to the wood handle part on torches, since the flame should be lighting it too.
-Making glowstone blocks look more like a lamp? Or at least not like shiny gold cobblestone, so it looks better as lighting in houses maybe?
-Making wool a bit more interesting, maybe just a simple rounded square around each one to make it less boring.
-Making the books in the bookshelf texture look less like a gradient couldn't hurt.
-Lapis blocks as blue bricks maybe?
-making the steps on the ladder uneven?

Just some suggestions based on edits I did to my own default texture pack that I made for personal use. lol
