I was really disappointed that Mojang couldn't put this concept in the game. I'm glad that someone in the community (you) were able to realize these small details and put it in a resource pack. Thank you! It looks great! I really love the mushrooms on the log; it's a great detail.

However, I'm encountering an issue with this. I dropped this resource pack on top of my other resource packs but there's an issue where the sides of the tree fungi are the same texture as the birch log. The top and bottom tree fungi textures are fine, but for some reason, the sides of the tree fungi aren't showing up correctly.

Can you please help? It makes them difficult to see, because they blend in with the bird logs themselves. I'm playing on 1.20.1 and I have Optifine. I think the Connected Textures feature is messing things up, but I'm not sure to fix it

The variants are too common and the hollow ones cause an x-ray glitch.
