This is a texture pack I will be working on now and then. It's an attempt to create a cell shaded look to minecraft. It's still WIP and not yet released. I will be posting pictures as I continue to update. Textures are not set in stone and may change over time. The textures will be 32 x 32. By the time this pack is released, it should be a complete overhaul of all the textures and art in minecraft.

Keep in mind this texture pack will be best used with a new world. Existing building could look very grid like if there isn't enough variation of blocks used. ;)

The texture pack is designed to be used in a vanilla game and is suppose to resemble the vanilla textures.

This has been done before (and much better IMO) by using CTM to create an ACTUAL cel shaded pack. I can link to it once I find it. I think this pack would benefit from taking a turn to being more like the one I mentioned.

Fine .. here is a better comment. Thanks for the feedback. I plan to go completly Vanilla and will not be using CTM. Thanks for the advice, but im afraid this texture pack will probably not be for you. While I am aware that others may have done similar texture packs, I plan to continue this texture pack how I see fit. Better or worse is a matter of opinion and I suggest next time you make your comments a little more tactful. The "(and much better IMO)" really was unnecessary.

If you have other suggestion that have to do with the actual textures themselves, then im all ears. TheWolfmon has already helped me greatly on suggestions with some of the textures.

yes as sewa said extreme amounts of potential based on the pics i guess you know what youre doing ;)

but i have a little tip. if you make a black outline on every block it will feel less cell shaded and just framed så think about where you place the black borders ;3

Thanks for the tip. I have been trying to figure out which blocks to do that with. I for sure want to keep all natural floor type blocks from being outlined at least on the top. Dirt, stone, sandstone .. ect.

Besides that im not sure how much I can really change with out it looking a bit off. I will defintly mess around with it more though.

Thanks ...:3

I did sort of run into a slight issue. Which is more of an issue with current builds. When switching over to my texture from vanilla, buildings will tend to look grid like, because they where built without having to think of that in mind while building. If you use to much of blocks with black outlines .. you will get that grid look no matter what.

So I am trying to think of a way to solve this issue. Some of my thoughts are to leave it as is and just mention it's not best to use this texture pack on already built builds. Or ... I wil lhave to choose some non natural blocks to also have no black outline to balance it out.

After messing around with it, I fixed it. I changed the stone brick blocks without the black outline. It's probably the most used blocks so it should get rid of any grid like look even with old builds .. at least in most cases. I feel I made the stonebricks look better too.

I will most likely post some picture later today. Want to do more blocks first.
