Hardcordya by Uziush



What is Hardcordya?

Hardcordya is a add-on hardcore challenge pack. It provides you with a set of splashes from which each one is a challenge. Given the random nature of Minecraft splashes  each time when you start the game you'll be presented with a new mission to complete in you hardcore world. You can always reload an unwanted challenge and pick a new one (but that wouldn't be hardcore) or reload and write multiple challenges to apply in your precious save. Hardcordya is not a mod and all you need is Minecraft in version 1.6 or above. It also eliminates the need of external websites for generating challenges - it's all in your Minecraft after starting the game!

Remember that Hardcordya is an add-on an must be used on top of the default pack or your favorite resource pack. Hardcordya is made in the resolution typical to 32x packs so this resolution is advised as the optimal for any packs used under it. The recommended pack is Crafteryada, but your favorite pack will also work great!



The name "Hardcordya"

The name sounds very close to "hardcore" on purpose, because the pack is intended to play in this mode. In fact it is a portmanteau of the words "hardcore" and "misericordia" - Latin for "act of mercy" and also the name of a type of kinfe used to kill wounded opponents in medieval times. Also note that "cordis" means heart in Latin, hence the logo.



How to use Hardcordya?

The basic set of rules is included in the title screen after applying the pack. The rules are:

    1. Reload a splash
    2. Write it down
    3. Apply during this playthrough

The pack is intended to play that way, which means that after starting Minecraft with Harcordya, you write down the first splash that pops up on a piece of paper and you try to achieve it in one sitting on you hardcore world.

By any means I am not forcing you to do it only this way. Hardcordya is meant for fun and you can use the challenges in any way you want. Examples include:

    - Playing it in survival
    - Completing the challenge in multiple sittings
    - Reloading and writing down multiple challenges
    - Considering them just rough rules and not writing them down

The main point is: HAVE FUN WITH HARDCORDYA!



Legal: YouTube, maps and remixes and all you need to know

You are free to use this pack in your YouTube videos. I only ask you to provide a link to my download and to get the name right.

You are free to use it for screenshots and your maps, just don’t provide the pack as a bundle in your download. Provide a link to the official download instead.

You cannot use Hardcordya as a server pack. If you want your players to use it provide a link to the download at your server’s site or in any other form on the server itself (signs on the spawn, server messages etc.)

You are free to modify the pack for your own use, but you cannot distribute the modified package or claim it as your own.

I do not allow any remixes and rehosting on other sites - you can only provide a link to my download page on curse. Any adf.ly links are forbidden (I do not use it and it indicates a fake link).
