iSIGHT Total Color Blindness Pack Type 2
- Total RGB Colour Vision Deficiency Aid for Achromatopsia / "Monochromacy" and hopefully suited also for low visual acuity (feedback needed!), also suited for Achromatomaly, if you prefer this texture style
- Glow in the Dark (Optifine)
Goal of iSIGHT is to facilitate gaming in Minecraft for people with red-, green-, blue-deficiency or even total colour-blindness, and to raise awareness amongst other creators.
I'd love to bring a bit more variation into colour-vision-deficient people's MC life, or at least facilitate to differentiate between e.g. ores, armour, weapons and tools, and more!

May I ask, do you have Monochromacy/Achromatopsia?
Can you not see any colours at all?
If so, it would be so very great if you could lend me your help so I can continue to develop this addon pack for people who can't see any colours at all.
The next update for all iSIGHT packs will be added weapons, armour and tools that are easily identifiable out of which material they are made.
You can send me a private message, if you're interested to give me input and feedback on this pack, so we can figure something out!
Enjoy gaming, have a great day!
When it comes to identifying ores without using 3rd party software (I.E. Colorblind Assistant, software that labels the color my mouse cursor is pointing at.), I use this texture pack alongside 1 a friend gave me to label wool, bed and terracotta colors.
The Minecraft 1.17 update introduced new Deepslate ore blocks that all look basically the same.
How do I private message people on this site?
This link here should lead you directly to compose a message: https://www.planetminecraft.com/account/pms/new
Here you write the PMC account name as recipient, title of the message, and message itself and then send.
Those Deepslate dark blocks are a real pain, I can imagine, and I also heard the same of people who are just red- or green-weak. Adding those symbols I used for them as well will help certainly, and I'll also have to think of a symbol for Copper Ore, and also maybe rework a few of the old ore symbols a little bit.
For completely colourblind, I think a good approach would be to give differently-coloured blocks majorly a completely different texture, even though that strays off Vanilla a lot, it may be more pleasant and more immersive for you to play with it?
In my research for colour vision deficiency, I also found 6 colours which are differentiable for true colourblind, that would also be a possible idea, to make a set of 4 to 5 of each pattern of a certain block type (e.g. wool), as dyeable blocks got 16 colour variants.
In case you'd like to help me in developing the pack for true colourblind, we could also talk via Discord, if that's more convenient for you. I usually very rarely add anyone to my Discord Friends' list, but in this case it'd be important enough to make an exception, if you like.
Have a good day,
Meri
